Giving you that get up and go feeling!

It is hard, what we do.  We tear ourselves down physically and mentally.  We challenge ourselves and fail constantly.  We try new things, unsuccessfully.  We see, literally, the effort pouring out of us; in sweat, blood, tears, vomit.  Then one day. . . CLICK, BANG, POW it works.  It becomes second nature.  We make it part of ourselves, it becomes instinct.

Getting to that point is a journey.  Most of the time it is an uphill battle, a war within ourselves to keep striving forward, to never give up.

I have a friend who is a comedy writer but his latest article is a slight departure.  It is motivational.  These are videos he posted on his site and others that I have found which are applicable to help motivate you towards whatever your ultimate goal is.  Use them with caution- sudden bursts of productivity and yells of "YES!" might startle your coworkers or other surrounding humans.  Thanks TJ Fink!

Updates. Good ones!

As I sit here in my office it is currently 60 degrees outside.  Easter/Passover has come and gone and spring has sprung!

We are offering a NEW class for the spring (and foreseeable future)...Urbanathalon Training.  It has been going for two weeks now, on Tuesdays at 6 PM, and the people who have taken it have only positive things to say.  Take advantage of this offer and get your FREE class!

The main instructor for this class will be Adam Pakiela (@PrgThruAggressn).  The class meets at the gym (1261 Broadway, 4th floor) at 6:00 PM every Tuesday.  We are OUT the door at 6:05 to hit the streets of NYC.

The past two weeks have focused on teaching the correct technique for running/sprinting.  We will ramp up the intensity as the weeks progress.  The cool thing about spring workouts- the harder they are, the shorter they last (sometimes).
